Sea Power Piracy
The wave power system along the Portuguese coast, in operation for over a decade, has suffered a string of power-piracy attacks over the past several months, culminating in the theft of five "bobber" units.
"We don't know whether this is a prank, an isolated local event, or part of a larger problem," stated a representative of the Portuguese wave energy industry. "But we're concerned."
