I can not believe it's 2019.  I never knew or thought that I would be in the position I am now.  After graduating from CSUEB in 2009 I began in the Communications department for a bank. While I was working towards my MBA our Economy faced its second "great depression". Life was tough and a chunk of us were laid off. After a few years the economy was booming all over again. That’s when I decided to get married and move. I guess I can say that moving was the best decision I have made so far.

Catalina Island is so beautiful and different I would never move back to the Bay Area. After getting a job as the Marketing Director for the local aquarium I met a few new people at work. My life changed after meeting Maria. She told me about a new organization, Blackout, which is out to protect all Americans. I decided to do my research and felt that I had to be part of this and I had to contribute my time and effort. I was just sick of doing the same thing every day.

It was work and coming home and cooking for the family. Life sure was boring and repetitive. Now I actually have some excitement in my life. Working with new people and reaching the goals of this organization is amazing. I look forward to accomplishing what we are out to do.
