2019 Press Release - OPV goes worlwide

Food Production gets a boost

Aug 2019Shanghai Foodstuff Production Company Ltd, announced plans for a dozen new OPV production plants to begin setting up in areas outside China.  Areas that were chosen the global pilot projects for new  Organic Protein production included food crisis areas most hard hit by recent climate change, including west and north africa, eastern europe, southern india, argentina, and uzbekistan. Not only does it provide additional food source to these troubled areas, but also provides jobs and training to refugees.Organic Protein Vats produce a type of  naturally occuring type of single cell organism, that grows quickly and is 60% digestible protein.  Rather like tofu in its final form, it can dried, formed, and used in a number of ways injunction with local diets and tastes. The success, low cost, and rapid results from the domestic production plants, made the export of OPV technology a new cornerstone in world ending hunger. Funding for the new plants was provided by a a combination of local governments, international relief agencies, and UN.  Each plant should be able to produce enough basic food material to feed over 40000 people.  Coordinating with local and national goverments, and relief agencies, the 12 new plants hope to be up and running by the end of 2020.
